Emergency flood relief appealNepal needs us now: donate to flood relief

Flood Response 2026 · Coming soon

Children & Education Recovery

Helping affected children get back to school. This campaign is not open for donations yet.

Where it stands

We are still working out what is needed.

The floods took roads, bridges and buildings, and in several communities they took the school with them. Before we ask anyone for money towards it, we want to be able to say precisely what the money buys and who decided it. That work is under way now:

  • 01Talking with affected schools and district education officials about what was lost and what is needed first.
  • 02Working out which children are out of school, and what is keeping them out — fees, uniforms, materials, transport, or a building that is gone.
  • 03Agreeing with local partners how support would be delivered and how it would be accounted for.

No figure, no target and no opening date is published on this page, because none has been set. When one is, it will appear here and on the homepage in the same change.

Tell me when it opens

We will write when the campaign opens and when there is something to report from the schools.

This opens a pre-filled message in your own email application. Nothing is stored here.
