Rajeshwori School stands finished in the village it was rebuilt for

Sipapokhare lost effectively all of its houses to the earthquakes of April and May 2015. It also lost the buildings that held the village together, and the school was one of them.
After the transition-home programme closed in 2017, Mission Rebuild Nepal said its next work would be schools and a community hall. Rajeshwori School was the first of those. The project added a storey to the existing building, and by August 2018 the work was substantially complete.
The organisation named two donors in its announcement: Stephen DeFolo and Ben Amini. The DeFolo family's involvement went back to March 2016, when a pledge of $200,000 was made in memory of Keith DeFolo.
The same ground had a different function two years earlier. The second handover ceremony, in March 2016, was held on the large field at Rajeshwori School because it was the only space in the village that could hold fifteen hundred people.
