A second storey goes up on the school that hosted the handovers
Seven months after closing its house-building programme, the organisation reported that the school extension at Sipapokhare was close to done.

The project was an extension rather than a replacement: a storey added to the existing Rajeshwori School building in Sipapokhare, the village in Sindhupalchowk where the organisation had built houses for almost every displaced family.
Working at that altitude in January is a choice made by the calendar rather than by preference. The monsoon closes the roads from June, and materials have to be moved before it starts. The same constraint shaped the house programme, which repeatedly raced the rains between 2015 and 2016.
The building was finished later that year.
